Hello! Thank you so much for considering donating to Hardy Girls, Healthy Women’s 2020 Girl’s Rock! Awards. I first heard about Hardy Girls when I saw an inspiringly confident group of girls* at an event I was attending from the Girls’ Advisory Board (GAB). I kept running into Hardy Girls and their work around the state, and when I connected with Hardy Girls during my first fall in college, the organization quickly became really important to me. I’ve really enjoyed working in various capacities with women* and girls* of all ages who rock throughout my four years with Hardy Girls, and I love being part of the work they do to honor and cultivate the brilliance in girls* all across Maine. I hope you’ll join me/us in Hardy Girls’ mission of causing a ruckus!  Your donations ensure we can provide free and low-cost programming to over 1,200 girls around the state.

This year’s GRAs will honor girls from 9-19 who have made significant contributions to their communities in six unique categories and will bring a keynote speaker to over 150 attendees, honorees, and nominees. Hardy Girls' biggest fundraiser is the annual Girls* Rock! Awards. This is one awesome night of listening to girls talk about leaping over stereotypes, ignoring the haters and smashing the patriarchy. We honor six girls* who are challenging society and making changes around our state. Hardy Girls Healthy Women takes girls seriously and puts the power in their hands to challenge a society that ignores their brilliance.
